Trash Services
Yard Waste Services
It will be picked up weekly and year round. Please note that general yard waste is meant for grass, leaves, small branches and limbs. If you have a full tree that needs to be removed from your yard, you will want to contact a tree removal service. Legacy Lawn can be reached at 816-714-4770 for tree removal services. Yard waste needs to either be placed in the brown yard waste compost bags or bundled together in 3 foot x 3 foot bundles. The bundles need to be tied together with twine or duct tape so that a trash hauler can lift the bundle arm’s length away from their chest and place it into the truck. Please remember that our weight limit is 40 pounds per bundle/bag.
Large Item Pickup
With Constable Sanitation every home will get a one large item pick-up quarterly. One Large Item pickup includes, but is not limited to the following:
- A small desk
- Two seat sofa
- Large Electronics (50 pounds or lighter)
- kitchen table and chairs
- Full size or smaller mattress/box springs
Items that cannot be picked up in a trash truck include: Appliances, sleeper sofa, tires, concrete materials – arrangements can be made with our office for items that cannot be loaded in the trash truck for a small one time pickup fee – (816) 204-1192
Please contact our office directly or by email if you are unsure if your item qualifies for bulk item pickup.
One Large item pickup is the first Friday of August, November, February and May.

Glass Recycling is serviced every other Tuesday.
If you would like to be added to the reminder list for glass recycling, email info@crushglasskc.com and include which HOA you reside in. They will then add you to the reminder list.
